2024 Block of the Month Special Edition 
Commemorating Uhuru's 30th Anniversary "Pearls of Wisdom" Series 

Uhuru members, prepare yourselves for a unique experience and creative event presented by the Block of the Month Committee and the Education Committee.  Barbara Brown is an award-winning quilter, attorney, librarian, designer, educator, a founding member and continuing member of Uhuru for 30 years. Barbara's Adinkra Symbols pattern ($15) will be used for the 2024 Block of the Month. 
Members unable to attend the January guild meeting in-person can purchase the pattern by contacting Bárbara Brown, quipquilter@yahoo.com.  Barbara will accept cash or Zelle for payment. 
 
Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the 4th Monday of each month in 2024, Sew Happy Hour at 7:00pm. The 4th Monday of each month is BOM Monday for the entire year (usually Mondays following Saturday guild meetings).

October 28:  #15 - Nkyin Kyin (Twistings) 
November 25: #11 - Nyame Biribi
