Uhuru Quilters Guild
Monthly Meeting
Do you enjoy quilting and other fiber arts? Do you enjoy sharing ideas about fabrics and quilting with other quilters? If you do, then we're the quilt guild for you. Uhuru Quilters Guild is a community of kindred souls who enjoy each other's fiber art. We are a home for creative spirits – a circle of friends who treasure each other as a precious gift and provide support and encouragement in whatever life brings. The members of Uhuru Quilters Guild would like to extend to you an invitation to visit, enjoy a variety of quilting techniques, socialize, and join our guild. Scroll down and complete the Contact Form at the bottom for more information.
Uhuru seeks to promote the work and accomplishments of African American quilters and to preserve the traditions, culture, and history of quilting. Our motto is "Each One Teach One." The guild welcomes all those who are interested in quilts and quilting. We have numerous speakers, workshops, exhibits, sew-a-longs, a retreat, and a field trip or two planned for the coming year.
Meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month at 10:30 am.
Doors open around 10:00 am.
